How we handle your information
Last updated 19 October 2026. This statement explains how Practical AI collects and uses personal information through this website, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, business, email address, phone number and message. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising tools on this website.
Why we collect it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and, if you choose to work with us, to arrange that work. We do not sell your information or add you to a mailing list without your agreement.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are received through our website host, Netlify, which stores form submissions on servers outside New Zealand, and are then delivered to our email. We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, and we delete enquiries that do not lead to work after 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Use the enquiry form on our home page and we will respond within 20 working days.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
